There are two Lego maniacs living with us.
Everyday more and more "spaceships" appear.
There was a time when spaceships were not to be destroyed, but soon we started to run out of pieces for new spaceships. Now each ship is preserved forever in a portrait - so let the wrecking begin!

Here are just a few of the hundreds we have recorded.

Apple-picking

The best apples in the world are grown about 15 miles from our home. Apple orchards line route 20 throughout Lafayette and this year we tried yet another one: Navarino's. The trees were all dwarf sized so the picking was easy, even for the under 4 foot high set.

In case I haven't mentioned it already in this blog, my husband is by far the handiest bloke around. In addition to his remarkable computer skills, he is fearless in the face of any tool. Check out this recent toy he rented for the weekend.

Preschool

The other day I brought Gulliver and his friend, Ace, to pick up Eisen at preschool. We approached from the adjacent field while the preschoolers were playing outside. Eisen happened to be playing near the fence when he spotted Gulliver with joy.




Once inside the gate, the three boys play together on a big tree until Haley comes along to invite Eisen to swing. I wonder if this is a sign of things to come...

Ashfield Fair

Here we are at the Ashfield Fair, enjoying cotton candy, sunshine, hills for rolling and good friends.

Visiting Northampton

Over Columbus Day weekend we visited our friends, Pete and Kathy, in Northampton, MA. One of the nicest moments was when the kids all sat down to eat dinner and have their own mealtime banter.
