Fun with Shabu Shabu

Our first experience with Shabu Shabu style of dining. Cooking our food in a pot of steaming broth proved challenging with a 2 year old present, but Eisen showed us how to use chopsticks to eat corn on the cob and Gulliver proudly cooked his clam and ate it. Auntie Laurel and our dear friends Jennifer and Dan remained good sports despite the chaos!

To the sea...

The Boston Aquarium is our favorite. The giant cylindrical tank and spiral ramp makes it easy to see everything from anywhere you are standing. Gulliver loves the sea dragons, I love the jellyfish, Eisen was excited about the shark and Tim enjoyed pointing out my most dreaded creature: the barracuda!

At home

The things we get up to at home. Sometimes it's studying a map of the world and other times it's a game of naked chase. We strive for a balance.

Christmastime

Another wonderful holiday was spent in North Carolina with Tim's family. Christmas morning brunch, new scooters, cousin love, Duke Forest, and the Brower home.

My first post

Well, I am finally doing this blog-thing. I can't think of a better day to start than when Batman graced us with his presence at Gulliver's 5th birthday party. Here he is with Gulliver and his best friend, Marco.
